Mystik Design was born from my passion for crafts and the idea of recycling all those glass jars that we use every day and end up throwing away, such us pickle, mayonnaise, tomato jars, etc. In general, any glass jar of any size or shape.
One day, I decided to give life to all those jars, I transformed them into lamps into fairy houses and gave them other functionalities, now, they can be used as small lamps, or you can also store things inside.
To create them, I use any glass jar, clay or polymer clay, acrylic paints and LED lights or LED candles. The first step would be to wrap the glass jar with clay and give it the shape I want, then I let it dry. Once dry, I paint the fairy house with acrylic paints.
Finally, I insert the LED lights inside or a LED candle and "Voila"! Now we have a beautiful and adorable little lamp in the shape of a fairy house to place in any corner of your home or to make a unique and special gift.

All the fairy houses shown below are handmade, with a lot of patience, dedication and above all with a lot of love.
Rose Fairy House
Before it was a beautiful little fairy house, this cutie was a glass jar containing mustard inside. I fell in love with the shape of the jar, so I decided to do something creative with it. I was determined to bring the pink fairy house to life.
First, I covered the glass jar with polymer clay, next, I created the doors and windows with plastic cutting tools. Second, I used toothpicks to give wood texture to some parts of the house.
The next step was to create the roof of the house, for which I used polymer clay and aluminum foil. I made a cone shape with the aluminum foil and afterwards I applied different layers of polymer clay, which simulate the petals of a rose. You can open the top of the house so you can use it to put things inside or place an LED candle and use it as a light lamp.
Domus de Janas
The Domus de Janas are sepulchral structures formed by tombs dug into the rock in various shapes. They are typical of the Mediterranean area and, in particular, of the Italian island of Sardinia. The term means "house of the fairies" or "house of the witches".
For the creation of this fairy house, I wanted to merge the aesthetics of the fairy world with these curious ancient stone dwellings.

Halloween Fairy House
When Halloween comes, fairies love to decorate their houses, dress up, decorate them with pumpkins, spider webs and tell stories of witches and ghosts. Pumpkins are carved to make jack-o-lanterns and children parade through all the neighboring fairy houses, knocking on doors and shouting "Trick or treat!" in hopes of getting their candy bags filled.
